Dendritic cell chimerism of transplanted NOD mice. Splenocytes and lymphocytes of chimeric NOD mice (925 cGy, 4 × 106 B6.H-2g7 bone marrow cells) were analyzed at 6 months’ posttransplantation by FACS. Dendritic cells (CD11c+CD3) were stained for the expression of the two CD45+ isoforms, CD45.1+ (host) and CD45.2+ (donor). More than 97% of dendritic cells in pancreatic draining lymph nodes (PLN), mesenteric lymph nodes (MLN), and spleen are donor derived. Means ± SD, n = 3.
