Figure 1C in the above-listed article erroneously showed the intensity of synaptophysin staining in a control animal, depicted in the article as an example from a BB/W-rat. The correct Fig. 1C is below, showing the correct representation of synaptophysin staining in a type 1 BB/W-rat (middle panel).
