  • Data are means ± SD. Experiments were performed in triplicate for each islet isolation; the number of independent pancreases used was 6–8. Indications of 3.3 and 16.7 G equal 3.3 and 16.7 mmol/l glucose, respectively. Values at 16.7 G were significantly different between groups (P < 0.01 by ANOVA)
