For all stage 2 association results, see supplemental Appendix 3. All P values are two-tailed and uncorrected for multiple hypothesis testing. G(−30)A was tested by perfect proxy rs730497. Multiple attempts to genotype SNP rs7331478 (tested by rs2297316, rs2293943, YamadaG4, and rs9512918 in Table 2) failed, so we could not determine whether this SNP is associated in the larger sample.
